Multisports adventure park with different activities such as zip wires, climbing walks, paintballing and golf. Don’t forget to take a picnic!

Old Favourite: Amphitheatre

A beautiful Roman Amphitheatre built in the 2nd century set on the beach front of Tarragona. You can walk around the amazing amphitheatre which was once used for gladiatorial games.

Local Cuisine: Barcelona

The Gothic Quarter, in Barcelona is popular with the locals - serving some of the best paella and Aroos Negre (black rice) which is coloured with squid ink. The tapas is also a favourite around here.

Where is Costa Dorada?

Situated in the province of Tarragona, Costa Dorada is on the coast of the northeastern Spanish region, Catalonia. Barcelona is just a short distance to the north, with the region's capital only a 50 mile drive when staying on our park in Salou.  

What's the weather like in Costa Dorada?

As with neighbouring Catalonian coastline, Costa Brava, Costa Dorada basks in rays of sunshine throughout the summer months. 

Clear blue skies are commonplace during the height of summer, with August temperatures regularly peaking in the mid to upper 20 degree range.
  

What is there to do in Salou?

The coastal resort town of Salou is known for its stunning beaches and sea views, particularly along the fine golden sands of Llevant

The PortAventura Theme Park is also a huge draw, with six themed areas brimming with attractions as diverse as looping rollercoasters, mazes and exotic bird shows making the park suitable for children of all ages. Car enthusiasts will want to take a trip to Ferrari Land, while keen shoppers will find some great bargains at the weekly market.
