"The park catered for both children and adults. As mature adults we found the park friendly and happy. The nights were quiet as the entertainment finished at midnight. We felt secure as entry by car was limited. We really enjoyed our stay. The park was close to the beach and shops and within walking distance of the port."

With characterful Catalan bars and restaurants, not to mention the popular market quite literally on the doorstep, the tranquillity of this shady site is a particular surprise. The pool complex nevertheless is the centre of the park's animation offering by day or you can seek out the back streets of Picasso's Collioure, one of France's most beautiful old ports.

Booked to visit friends and cannot fault comfort however one day was particularly cold and we found that the aircon unit did not work properly. We found out that this was an ongoing problem that was unfortunately never resolved because so many visitors went through the van that it clearly didn't matter!! Sad

Banyoles, Catalonia (Spain)
I do think British people need warning that the French do not like board/surf shorts in their pools. They say that people tend to wear them all day so they are unhygienic. I had to buy new trunks for my son (and he was made to get out of the pool). However, there were no poolside showers and there were plenty of kids in sun protective T-shirts. I don't really see why cotton board shorts are thought to be dirtier than synthetic swimming trunks or T-shirts. My husband couldn't go in the pool because of this either!

Burton on Trent
First time I have stayed on a holiday park in Europe and I must say I was really pleased. The staff who looked after the Alfresco holiday homes, were lovely and really helpful. Staff at reception were very welcoming and helpful when we needed to organise a taxi for coming home. Location of the park is very good, close to the beach, restaurants and bars.

Leamington Spa
The park was good, well maintained and what we wanted. My only criticism of the park would be the impression that the shop/Pizza staff gave when they were sitting outside the shop smoking then going straight back in to serve. And apparently the wait for pizzas was very long and they didn't even prepare the bases there, they came from the chiller. I peeked over and watched!

This has been our 4 visit to La Chapelle over the years and each time has not disappointed. Its location practically at the heard of Argele is convenient. The bakery is amazing and the pool and bar are second to none.

I really liked the park, although I felt it was a little too small for us personally. I couldn't really mark the Organised Activities/Entertainment as we didn't get involved in any.

West Bromwich
The park has not supermarket or restaurant. Although it is very close to the town, it would have been nice to have shops and restaurants on site as options.
