Located in north eastern Spain, Amfora D’Arcs is a compact and friendly holiday park brimming with fun opportunities. The medium sized campsite is crammed with character and there are many activities nearby, such as the restaurants and bars in the popular coastal town Cambrils.
Families will love cycling the short distance into town to take to the local beaches, sampling Spanish cuisine, and seeing sights such as the Roman ruins at the Museu d'Història. There’s plenty of room for adventure, too, with activity courses at Jump Land, plus the theme parks PortAventura and Ferrari Land further up the coast near to the resort town Salou.
On park, visitors have access to a newly redesigned and heated outdoor swimming pool, as well as plenty of sports activities. As a result, families staying at Amfora D’Arcs are perfectly positioned to split their time between action-packed days out and relaxing on park with the wide range of activities available.

Great small campsite. Very relaxed. No shop on site which reduced our score slightly. Otherwise loved it!

Thetford Norfolk
Entertainment was just aimed at the Spanish, restaurant was a hit & miss no on site shop had to walk across extremely busy road to buy food. Walk to seafront down a almost track of a road no path 2 way traffic very dangerous, bus service very limited to a couple of buses a day which isn't very good. The only thing that stood out for us was the alfresco rep she was fantastic.

I booked to stay in a 2 bedroom mobile home with my daughter during the May half term. The Alfresco mobile home itself was absolutely fine, and it was a bargain considering it was half term. However, the Alfresco mobile homes are situated right near the front entrance/reception and it could be quite noisy. The tennis courts are also there so if you like watching a game of tennis it's fine, however, if you prefer peace and quiet, then this is not the park to go to with Alfresco. To make matters worse, maybe we were just unlucky but the park gardeners were hacking at all the olive trees at the front of the site for the first three days we were there, giving them a mega pruning and the noise from the equipment was extremely irritating. We did end up off the site two out of three of those days due to this. There was no warning of this work being carried out, so it was a very rude awakening at 8am on the first morning! There were also workmen, right outside our mobile home, building a wall and kerb in the road. This went on for two days. The noise of the diggers, etc was also a nuisance.
The facilities at the park are pretty basic, which we were expecting and consequently
I would not complain about this. But if you are expecting more, don't book this park. The park did not open the larger pool whilst we were there, only the small pool and the toddler pool so it did become rather crowded in the pool area as there were quite a few English/Irish families there. We did not really have a proper parking space just for us and ended up parking in the visitors car park. I can imagine at the height of summer when the park is full, this could become an issue.
